Take this Google Quiz, Screen capture/Google
Google asks “can you spot when you’re being phished?” and gives you the opportunity to identify phishing examples in an online quiz:
“Phishing is an attempt to trick you into giving up your personal information by pretending to be someone you know.”
By taking the phishing quiz, individuals can determine a whether for example an email is phishing content or not.
The quiz starts by asking for your name and email which can be bogus– “neither need to be real.” Each example starts with an explanation defining the scenario, for example, a Google Doc email. After assessing the status of the example, the user can click on the phishing or legitimate button to input the user’s response.
After clicking on the answer button, the next step involves explaing whether the example is a phishing or legitimate answer. A show me button is presented to explain further the correct answer.
