With the amount of office space shrinking to an average 151 square feet per worker by 2017, HP’s new Z2 Mini Workstation, available for purchase in December, offers workers more space merely by its compact size. In fact, it is “90 percent smaller than most traditional business-class desktop towers,” and is just over 2 inches high with an octagon-shaped box.

Although it’s appearance is sleek and designed to complement rather than just occupy space on a desk, even more room can be saved by the ability to mount the Z2 workstation on the underside of a desk or or on the back of a HP Z monitor.

Besides it’s state of the art design attributes, the Z2 is also a “mini” powerhouse, with “3x the performance boost over a business-class mini PC” and still remains whisper quiet. Organizations and businesses of all sizes will undoubtedly be drawn to the combined performance perks and small size of the Z2.

Financial services institutions are particularly attracted to the Z2 Mini’s ability to “support up to six displays out-of-the box.” Universities and colleges especially find the Z2 “space-saving options for classrooms and labs” to be beneficial.

Because of the growing demand for 3D animation software, digital content creation, networking and graphics (4 percent between now and 2026), the Z2 Mini Workstation will offer a viable solution for your increasing performance and also space saving computer needs.
