Bloomberg News recently reported that Apple is producing M4 computer processors with AI processing capabilities. The new M4 chips will be included in new iMacs, a low-end 14-inch MacBook Pro, high-end 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pros, and Mac minis. The computers will be released to consumers later this year and early next year.
Besides Apple producing AI Chips, Intel, Qualcomm, and Nvidia plan on or are currently producing similar chips.
Mac sales have decreased 27% in Apple’s last fiscal year. In October, M3 chips were introduced in the new MacBook Pro and iMac computers.
