Google Circle to Search
With new Circle to Search you can search anything on your Android phone screen without switching apps. By circling, highlighting, scribbling or tapping select images, text or videos you can find instant information regarding the excerpt you chose:
whether you’re texting friends, browsing social media or watching a video, you can search what’s on your screen right when your curiosity strikes.
Circle to Search will be available on select premium Android smartphones on January 31, first with Pixel 8, the Pixel 8 Pro and the new Samsung Galaxy S24 series.
AI-Powered Multisearch
AI-powered multisearch experience permits users to not only to search using text and images like multisearch in Lens which Google pioneered in 2022, but also “to ask more complex or nuanced questions about what you see, and quickly find and understand key information.”
AI-powered multisearch can be found via the Lens camera icon in the Google app for Android or iOS and will be launched this week in English in the U.S. for everyone. Outside the U.S. and opted into Search Generative Experience (SGE), you can the new AI-powered multisearch in the Google app. AI-powered overviews on multisearch results are also available within Circle to Search.
