‘AI for All’ vision at CES 2025, Image/Samsung Electronics
Samsung Electronics recently unveiled its new mission ‘AI for All’ vision at CES 2025. Primarily geared to leverage AI “to bring intelligence to every day, enabling people to experience a more personal, impactful and empowering world.”
Samsung’s AI focus is centered around Home AI, “a plan for redefining the meaning of home by providing truly personalized services across all intelligent, connected devices.” Samsung’s AI strategy also includes AI-powered devices across mobile, home appliances and visual display. The ‘AI for All’ vision will bring the power of AI to everyday experiences and improve life for all.
Jong-Hee (JH) Han, Vice Chairman, CEO and Head of Samsung’s Device eXperience (DX) Division further elaborated about Samsung AI home of the future:
I’m proud of how we have introduced new technologies and intelligence to the home, connected key devices and set the standard for the home of the future,” Vice Chairman Han said. “This year at CES, we are reinforcing our commitment to delivering personalized experiences through our widespread implementation of AI and we will continue this journey of AI leadership in the home and beyond, not just for the next decade, but for the next century.
As more users bring connected devices into their homes privacy becomes more of a concern, therefore security and privacy have been ramped up for Home AI addressing this issue. Samsung Knox Matrix uses blockchain technology to protect home appliances, mobile devices and TVs protecting against security threats. Knox Matrix Dashboard is a transparent privacy control offering security management for the connected home. Knox Matrix’s Credential Sync maintains data encryption or decryption only from the user’s devices. Samsung Knox Vault keeps passwords or PINs isolated in a secure location.
Samsung’s One UI integrated software experience equips users with AI-based features across connected Samsung devices.
Samsung’s SmartThings at CES 2025, Image/Samsung Electronics
Samsung’s SmartThings smart home platform connects hundreds of millions of users around the world. SmartThings Ambient Sensing senses user’s environment and context by determining human movements and ambient sounds via connected devices within the home. Enhanced AI voice assistant, Bixby Voice, will be included in SmartThings to increase usability for users. Samsung’s energy demand response program Flex Connect, allows customers to enroll their devices with SmartThings and use SmartThings Energy.

With AI-driven health insights gathered on the Galaxy Ring and Galaxy Watch, Samsung is helping users make sense of their data and arrive at more informed decisions about their well-being.
Samsung’s new AI PCs Galaxy Book5 Pro and Galaxy Book5 360 are equipped with Intel Core Ultra Processors (Series 2) and bolster creativity with AI Select and Samsung Studio. AI Select simplifies browsing and Samsung Studio users can edit across their Galaxy smartphone, tablet or PC.
Samsung Vision AI, Image/Samsung Electronics
Samsung Vision AI, bring personalization and new features to screen experiences. AI Screen experience makes TVs smarter TVs by incorporating Generative Wallpaper, Live Translate and Click to Search for users. Neo QLED 8K advances users viewing experiences with AI features like 8K AI Upscaling Pro, Auto HDR Remastering Pro and Color Booster Pro for better picture quality. The Frame’s art experience now has Samsung QLEDs coming with a digital art collection of over 3,000 art pieces for a truly personal gallery.
Another Samsung AI innovation is SmartThings Pro:
Created to bring the same AI-powered digital solutions to business partners as SmartThings offers consumers, SmartThings Pro is a B2B solution spanning multi-residential homes to retail spaces, hotels, schools and more. Since its launch last June, SmartThings Pro provides businesses with integrations to better understand energy usage, proactively identify devices with maintenance needs and offer comprehensive control of connected solutions.
SmartThings for Ships is another Samsung collaboration to connect with compatible ships. SmartThings for Ships offers a Pre-Sailing Mode, which automates when the engine starts and turns on settings for temperature and lights, Care Mode provides a complete analysis of a ship’s power, AC systems and smoke alarms, and Protection Mode monitors abnormal activity.
Samsung SmartThings also includes automotive integrations including a new partnership with Hyundai Motor Group to bring SmartThings to Hyundai EVs:
With the expanded ecosystem, users can now use SmartThings Find to easily locate their parked car, even in crowded parking lots. With the power of Home AI, SmartThings can make recommendations on when to recharge EVs based on schedules and rates. And if there is a neighborhood power outage, it will automatically activate Battery Backup Mode, which works alongside AI Energy Mode to extend the battery energy to power home essentials.
Samsung and its subsidiary Harman offer new products that transform the in-car experience.For example, HARMAN’s new in-vehicle avatar is an intelligent digital copilot that integrates Harman products like Ready Care and Ready Vision for drivers assistance.
Samsung AI products and features showcased at CES 2025 will greatly assist users in their daily needs in areas from the home to ships to automobiles.
