The Apple Watch Series 8 was recently introduced early September to consumers with a variety of exciting features and is priced at $399 (US):

Apple developed crash detection, an advanced sensor-fusion algorithm that leverages a powerful gyroscope and accelerometer on Apple Watch and has the highest dynamic range accelerometer in any smartwatch:

“When Apple Watch detects a severe car crash, the device will check in with the user and dial emergency services if they are unresponsive after a 10-second countdown. Emergency responders will receive the user’s device location, which is also shared with the user’s emergency contacts.”

A new low power mode can extend battery life to reach up to 36 hours for Apple Watch Series 8 with iPhone present to keep users connected longer.

The latest watchOS 9 software brings new features to the Apple’s wearable operating system: International roaming, AFib History, Compass app, Workout app, Sleep tracking and new Medications experience.

Apple Watch Series 8 comes in the starlight, midnight, silver, and (PRODUCT)RED aluminum cases, and silver, graphite, or gold finishes in stainless steel. Apple Watch Series 8 is available in aluminum and stainless steel cases and in two sizes, 41mm and 45mm. Apple Watch Nike and Apple Watch Hermès new bands and watch faces will be coming this fall.

Although lower priced, the new Apple Watch SE delivers the core Apple Watch experience and is a great beginner Apple Watch, including Activity tracking, high and low heart rate notifications, and Emergency SOS, as well as the new Crash Detection feature all at a more affordable price of $249 (US):
