Gauzy, an Israeli start-up, has developed smart glass technology to display targeted and localized information and advertising on side and rear car windows. The liquid crystal glass bonded windows will display smart messaging technology.
The smart glass technology is clear when the car is running and a current is run through it. When the car is off, the high definition video and images are projected onto the opaque screens and are connected to the internet.
Eyal Peso, CEO and co-founder of Gauzy, recently described the relevance of this inventive technology:
“This technology can let passers-by know of nearby attractions, give you a lot of information, it’s location based of course, the car knows where it’s at so it can promote information that is related and relevant to the location the car is at.”
