Today Mobileye launched the EyeQ Kit, the first software development kit from Mobileye for its EyeQ system-on-chip to power driver-assistance and future autonomous technologies for vehicle makers.
First introduced by by Mobileye CEO Professor Amnon Shashua and CTO Professor Shai Shalev-Shwartz in 2017, Responsibility-Sensitive Safety (RSS) an automated vehicle (AV) safety net, “formalizes human notions of safe driving into a verifiable model with logically provable rules and defined responses.”
Mobileye, an Intel Company, will start manufacturing a “fleet of fully autonomous (level 4 SAE) vehicles for testing in the United States, Israel and Europe.”
Intel Corporation recently announced Intel and Mobileye have entered into a “definitive agreement under which Intel would acquire Mobileye.”
