"Designed for the visual and social generation," Samsung recently revealed the details of its new smartphones, Samsung Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+. Besides being equipped with an exceptional camera, smartphone reviewers have declared the Samsung Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ best-in-class for display and design. "Premium sound and a stunning screen" extend the smartphones superlatives.

The Samsung Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ is available in the colors Midnight Black, Coral Blue, and the new Lilac Purple. IP68 water and dust resistance are standard for these models. The smartphones are equipped with the Android 8 (Oreo) OS. As for display specs, the Galaxy S9 is a 5.8-inch Quad HD + Curved Super AMOLED, 18.5:9 (570ppi) and the Galaxy S9+ is a 6.2-inch Quad HD + Curved Super AMOLED, 18.5:9 (529ppi). Both smartphones include a 10nm 64-bit Octa-core processor (Max. 2.8 GHz + 1.7 GHz). Available memory for the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ is 4GB RAM and 6GB RAM respectively. More fast and wireless charging and fastest network speeds at gigabit LTE up to 1.2 Gbps, round off the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ extensive attributes.

The Galaxy S9+ most outstanding achievement is DxOMark's highest ever score for a mobile camera. Indeed, the Samsung Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+. cameras both feature a Dual Aperture (F1.5 – F2.4), which mimics the human eye and can adapt to varying lighting conditions. A Super Slow-mo feature comes with automatic motion detection and captures footage at 960 frames per second. Turn your 2D selfie into a 3D avatar and 18 shareable animated GIFs using the AR Emoji feature.

Another neat camera related feature involves Samsung’s intelligence platform, Bixby. Using deep learning technology, camera smart functions include" instant translation of text from one language to another, ability to recognize food and overlay approximate calorie count, and information about nearby landmarks and places" and identify products viewed and purchase them from associated retailers.

Lastly, there is Samsung Premium Care— a service including "damage protection, an extended warranty and quick turnaround service or a replacement device", free the first month with the purchase of a new Samsung Galaxy S9 or Galaxy S9+ on Samsung.com. Recently in-person support for mobile devices was expanded by adding 300 Samsung Care authorized uBreakiFix service locations, which makes the Samsung Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ smartphones an even more attractive investment.
