Vivaldi Launches Vivaldi Social

Vivaldi is launching Vivaldi Social, an open discussion hub supporting federated social media for members of the Vivaldi Community and beyond.

Vivaldi Social is a distributed social network based on open standards and reiterates Vivaldi’s belief in a community-driven and privacy-first approach.

* No owners

* No surveillance capitalism

* No tracking or profiling of users.

* No system promoting posts based on their popularity or virality, or whether someone paid to promote them.

According to Vivaldi CEO, Jon von Tetzchner, Vivaldi Social is natural alternative to Big Tech social media outlets:

“Joining the Fediverse and offering Vivaldi Social, is a natural progression for us, given our existing reliable alternatives to Big Tech – a feature-rich and flexible browser with a built-in mail client, calendar, and feed reader.”

Vivali requires a Vivaldi account to access Vivaldi Social. Simply log in to the Vivaldi Social instance. Those who don’t have an account can go to vivaldi.net to sign up for a free account.
