(Tech Mainstream) According to official Microsoft Docs, one easy way to find the number of CPU cores is found by the following instructions.
Press Ctrl + Shift + Esc to open Task Manager. Select the Performance tab to see how many cores and logical processors on your PC.
Another easy way to find the CPU cores is to select settings (gear icon) under the start menu (Windows logo), select system (computer monitor icon), select about, under about is the device specifications where the number of cores is listed under processor.
