(Tech Mainstream) Announced at its annual Tech World event, Lenova expanded on its consumption-based business model, and introduced Lenovo TruScale, a new portfolio-spanning everything-as-a-service offering: "Lenovo TruScale as-a-Service, providing all your IT needs from a single vendor. It simplifies and optimizes everything, from hardware and licensing to support and management, with one contract and one point of contact."

Lenovo TruScale focuses its pocket to the cloud availability as-a-service offerings into a single contract framework. Bolstering smarter technology among the current hybrid working and learning environment.

One driving force for this integrated approach is companies needing to keep up with the accelerating speed of innovation-

"We hear from CIOs every day that their organizations’ technology needs are evolving every 12-18 months...one solution, one provider, one contract framework, and a single point of accountability for everything-as-a-service."

As-a-service is growing in popularity recently with companies everywhere:

"Research shows the as-a-service market is growing at four times the overall IT services total addressable market. In three years, as-a-service models will represent 12% of enterprise x86 server spend and over 50% of new enterprise storage spend, growing at 40% CAGR and around 17% of commercial PC spend, up from 1% two years ago and growing at 50% CAGR.1"

Lenovo TruScale Device-as-a-Service solution (Daas) addresses the global shift to a flexible “work, learn and connect-from-anywhere” model, bolstering "flexibility in devices and work platforms, on-demand support when and where needed, and customizable solutions across the organization."

Lenovo TruScale leverages IT infrastructure, services and software by forming strategic alliances with other market leaders such as partners, Deloitte, VMWare and Intel, and DaaS security partners Absolute Software and SentinelOne. Companies can essentially get the public cloud experience along with the security and control of an on-premises solution.
