Building a successful app is not always an easy task. Google Play Academy is here to assist. With 10 "bite-sized" courses, including test your app before release, evaluate your app's technical performance, and monetize your app. Play Academy offers "tools and skills to build successful mobile app and games businesses." The Play Academy consists of free e-learning content that can be accessed at g.co/play/academy through a sign-up process. Play Academy often updates its courses to keep up with new app features and required skills.

Play Academy offers interactive lessons through rich multimedia and interactive e-learning. Once a user has learned new knowledge, testing of key console features and mobile app optimization will determine user acquired knowledge. For each new skill achievement, users get to place achievement badges on their Play Academy profile. Play Academy, essentially is an "Academy for App Success."

Some of the more specific topics relating to the total process of app development and marketing include: Test your app before release, evaluate your app's technical performance, manage an app release, choose the right targeting and distribution, manage your store, listing, analyze your data and grow your business, monetize your app, support and engage your audience, manage your account and understand how Google Play supports you. Lessons range in duration from 14 minutes to 1 hour and 30 minutes. 

In summation, Play Academy trains app makers to excel not only in the realm of development, but in multi areas of app marketing and monetization.
