Glasnost- Test Internet Service Provider Integrity

Wondering if your internet service provider is shaping your internet traffic, then look no further than the Glasnost online tool to inspect your current service situation. In summation, “The goal of the Glasnost project is to make ISPs’ traffic shaping policies transparent to their customers. To this end, we designed Glasnost tests that enable you to check whether traffic from your applications is being rate-limited (i.e., throttled) or blocked.” Follow the link at Glasnost- Test Internet Service Provider Integrity, for more information about this software from the The Max Planck Institute for Software Systems.

* Note: According to the Glasnost service usage, "In Windows 10, the Edge browser does not support plug-ins and therefore will not run Java. Switch to a different browser (Firefox or Internet Explorer 11) to run the Java plug-in. Select the More Actions option located at the top right of the Edge browser and click on Open with Internet Explorer."
